I remember about 1 or 2 years ago, I posted a forum saying that levels should be included in the game.
Now, I couldn't find the forum but I know I posted a forum about this.. If someone could find it would be awesome! :)

I wonder just maybe was it this that kick-started the thought process of having levels in Warlight?

I joined this game 2 years ago and I distinctly remember levels being there when I joined. Might be misremembering, though.

I think Genghis is the resident historian of Warlight forums, so hopefully he'll chime in to clear things up.

It was a long time ago, To be honest it could be 3 or 4 years ago.. I just don't know..

It's not utterly pointless. It does have the potential to add a layer to the metagame... but it doesn't quite do that yet.

Levels help keep people playing while getting new toys every so often.

Yes. I believe clans were made at the same time as well.

I don't recall any Forum posts asking for levels, but who knows. I certainly don't remember half of the "Traintown vs The World" type threads.

Conveniently, points gave clans a ranking system. Ranking system ex Machina.
