I've spent a long time linking up the connections, naming territories etc and ive realised there are a few alterations i want to make to the svg, move a couple of borders a little bit. Is there a way I can do that without scrapping the whole map and uploading a fresh svg and going through the hour of renaming things?

All edits you do to the svg overide what you've already done, but doesn't (or shouldn't) affect connections, territory names etc.

After the RA-Fridge incident I would hold all unpublished maps hidden! And preferrably in encrypted forms. Plus the recent outdated Flash player problems and its related enormous breach of information on other sites, it could be easily used to get your .svg files!
And Benjamin628 its better to make map alone regarding the post you made in previous thread. Unless two people have exactly the same vision of things. Generally you end up re-drawing one map quite a few times over to get it perfect. If you need testers then choose trusted players. But making a map with people who you do not know behind Warlight forum might get you into similar situation we have now!
I have always thought how often to make copyies of my svg, so in case I need to change something how far I must come back. It all depends on method of drawing/creating as well. Its good to know that I can re-upload .svg and unchanged things will be same. Will save a lot of time.
