so.. I played against this guy Baron, https://www.warlight.net/Profile?p=6040017895 his profile had a very high boot rate 55% so at the time I asked him to not get booted.. Which to be fair was rude of him.. I felt bad so I tried to be friends with him and well.. It didn't go so well... Just read the chat :( , Baron if your reading this, Can we still be friends?

Best way to meet people is to play games in tournaments. After two games or more with the same opponent, you may actually receive invitations for games.

Eventually, "reliable people" will join your team most of the time.

You can also make reputation by being a good game creator (different maps/templates/scenarios). If you don't give a reason to stick with you, no one will.

You should feel really ashamed for your bad behavior @Platinum and should definitely apologise to him. However one apology isn't enough and sometimes when stuff gets tough you need a mediator. This is just like you being married to Baron and he has to strong feelings to forgive you. How about everybody who has a heart writes an individual apology on your behalf? If Baron has like 50 apologies of different players in his mailbox he will definitely forgive you.

Plat, asking someone not to get booted is alright and all, but you just went way to far with your chat. I would've been pissed and told you to Sod off after turn one. I can now see why Baron didn't even give his all in a game against you.

I felt bad.. About telling him to not get booted as he was visibly ticked off that I told him that. Now I did try to be nice to him but he was so stubborn I made it into a joke into the end. The chat in the beginning was 100% genuine as I was interested in him ;) Asking someone about their hobbys in now taking it too far? And how about the end it's not taking it too far?

I believe that asking to not get booted was genuine. But continuing it on after that and not just finishing and saying "Sorry, I just wanted a good game". You made the game awkward with your continuous questions and in the end you got told to Eff off. Think about it for a minute.

Well, It was awkward... Knowing that a guy was ticked off at me, I was hoping he would just accept my apology and maybe we would play a game and chat.. If you don't believe I was 100% genuine about saying sorry that's your opinion. The questions were just to break the ice.. Get him to talk or distract him about what just happened.
