You should be able to withdraw any coins you bought as money, but again with a minimum amount , say $10? Any coins you lost, wouldn't be withdrawable because you lost them. Ha. But I feel like some people would realize that they don't want any coins, or they did something on mistake.
Other than that, I think it's all fair. You should have to work real hard to get money. Especially when a good chunk of it is de facto Fizzer's money.
No I mean, you buy 1000 coins. But, you decide you want those back so you withdraw them. There could be some regulations though, like you'd have to have not played a coin game since time of purchase and time of withdrawal.
I think it's perfectly reasonable, as there is some cost associated with each transaction. Asking Fizzer to eat that fee for every piddly $.34 withdrawal is stupid. Think of it like an arcade, not a casino. You buy tokens, win or lose some of their value, and then you can use them to buy certain tiers of prizes, only in this situation your prize is the actual money value and not a cheap plastic toy.
Noticeable enough that Fizzer would like to minimize it.
I think we can all agree Coins was a waste of time to implement and that implementing even 1/10 of the Uservoice ideas would be far more worth it. I mean, I think we're all tired of all the complaints about adding an in-game diplomacy system. I'd rather see that (and a significant shortage of threads asking for it).
The main reason is so obviously to decrease the amount of withdrawn money. If you need 7500 coins instead of, lets say, 750 coins, it takes more time to gather them, and after this timespan there is a chance that you changed your mind or lost some coins.
And that is totally fine with me, a logical reason, many real casinos work the same way. No need to avoid this reason like an elephant in the room, it is none.
I think it is mainly to dicourage people from trying to "take" money from Fizzer by creating loads of new accounts, picking up the 100 coin package (do all accounts get that or was it only old accounts? I'm not sure) and then losing to 1 "master" account, withdrawing the money and running. However I think that the fee should be lower, just that before you are allowed to withdraw Fizzer (or if anyone works for him now them) should check the games you have won money from to see if they are all legit against other well played players or if all the other players are now inactive and level 4 and all the games took 2 turns to finish.
Well, let's look at it from a different point of view. $75 is a high hurdle to clear for most of us. I know that I would never come close to sniffing that kind of money for the simple reason that I'm not that good of a player.
Based on this knowledge, I don't even bother trying coin games because for me it would be completely pointless.
If the bar were $10, I would be more likely to try my luck at it and see if I could skate that far. I can't say that every mediocre warlight player behaves like me, but if they did, lowering that minimum withdrawal amount would coax more of us into the pool.
From my knowledge, You can still get coins when creating a new account. I just think there's a certain period/certain amount of games to where your able to get the coins.
But for the certain amount of coins you can withdraw. I think its in a suitable place. Maybe Fizzer can lower the amount of coins a person can withdraw but not nothing lower than 50$. As said by previous comments, people can create accounts and get the free coins from those accounts and take out money that they didn't deserve.
Also Fizzer probably doesn't want people to withdraw money early. He wants people to play. If people were to withdraw money early, more and more people would probably stop playing coin games. such as for you as an example. You want to withdraw your money. If you wanted. You could withdraw all of it but after you withdraw it. There's a chance you and many other players will keep your prizes and stop playing coin games. Because of this, there's less coins in circulation in the coin games. Less players means less competition which is the last thing anyone wants.
Unless there's a lot of players playing coin games with a lot of coins going around. I see no reason why Fizzer should lower the coin withdraws to a very low amount which could make coin games inactive.
