A better way to chat than creating WL games sole for this purpose .

What is wrong with the offical WL chat IRC? (apart from noone using it, and noone knowing about it)

the official warlight irc never had that much traffic, don't see how an un-official one will.

The irc link is broken and i feel as though it would get traffic if ppl would login and stick around. When i was on last night 2 ppl joined and left within 2 mins and they joined an hr apart from one another if ppl would just join and stick around the channel would get a lot of traffic. The advantage of irc is ppl will get to talk more, it'll be easier to organize matches, its much quicker and far less laggy than in game chat, plus ppl who just like one another would get t talk casually in real time without having to wait days or weeks for a forum response.
