Some constructive feedback would be nice. What would you suggest to keep the game going? Lots of people can't afford a one time $30 payment but expect Fizzer to pay $300+ a month with no return on his investment.

Would you suggest monthly payments? Several people have pointed out in other threads that $30 US is a huge some of money in other countries. Would you be willing to pay a monthly or one time payment that was scaled to your countries per capita income?

Duke pointed out in another thread that Warlight has many Polish users and that the Polish zloty is roughly equal to $.35. If Polish players were asked to pay 30 zloty for a lifetime membership or maybe 5 zloty a month would that be fair?

The fact that Warlight has many young users who do not have access to credit cards and international users who do not buy everything on credit like many American's do illustrate the point that Warlight must adopt additional forms of payment also. Someone suggested PayPal, how would that work for you?

Use this forum and the Blog and voice your opinion on these issues AND leave feedback on your solution. Trust me Fizzer is listening.

Well, there are games that makes money without making to pay for them - check the systems the have on facebook. Or if you are interested in polish users do it on nk.pl. Let me know if you'd need help with that.
I believe you should make money on commercials and develop something extra like new scenarios that people would pay for.

So far you just made people angry - creating games, tournaments was actually considered as volunteer work :)

Game is most certainly NOT dead

30$ is just a special fee for now, as a reward for those of us who play the game. Monthly is coming, and 30 as a one time is nothing for someone who spent 3+ years creating and updating the game, countless hours. if you can't afford 30$, then thats too bad, but don't put out stupid threads like this, you just look like an idiot.

Also, I think that it's pretty unlikely that Fizzer is lying about his monthly outlay. The WL player base has exploded in the last half a year, and more players means more server load and more bandwidth, all of which cost money above and beyond the value of the time Fizzer spends to expand the features of the game.

As to your opinion on 2v2, I laugh in your face - it's my favorite kind of game, as can be evidenced from the fact that the last 8 games (and 1 tournament) that I've created have been 2v2s with open seats, good way to meet some people and have variety in playstyles. You can certainly make the claim that YOU don't like 2v2, but trying to impose that opinion on others is a loser's game.

(PS - I'd personally rather pay $30 and not have advertisements, but that's still a good idea and one I'm sure was batted around a bit before being dismissed...)

$30 is nothing for a lifetime of enjoyment. I would give my time to help develop the game as well, warlight is worth alot to members that enjoy the freedom

Actually over the past two days I'm seeing more open games than ever. Looking forward to tomorrow, I'll be getting membership!

I have enjoyed the game for over 2 years now and have no problem giving fizzer $30 for all those hours of entertainment, and it seems most of the people i play with have no issue with this either.Keep playing for free, the only real downside i see for the people who dont join is the not being able to adjust your luck. The fact that you can still play for free for the most part should be good enough.
