What Is The Arbitrary League? The Arbitrary League is a Warlight first. It is a league which is open to all types of games, maps and edits available on Warlight. It requires players to be all rounded, not necessarily the best players on Warlight but those who can play many types of game.
What All The Rules Of Play? Standard league rules, round robin for your section, winners go up to the next section, losers go down.
All Types Of Edits? Yes, the Arbitrary League's 'edits' or properties are decided randomly for each section at each running. See below for a full list of the 'edits'
'Edits' Fog - No Fog, Light Fog, Normal Fog
Map - Decided by order of Average Rating (Number decided)
Territory Distribution - 1,2,3,4,5 per player or all? (Manual for numbers, random for all)
Number Of Wastelands - 0,5 or 10
Size Of Wastelands - 5, 10 or 20
Cards - No Cards, 1 Type, 3 Types or 5 types
Types Of Card - If cards are selected then reinforcement is always selected, others are randomly selected. Other card types stay as standard settings.
Reinforcement Card - Fixed, Progressive (turns) or Progressive (territories)
Players changed - See below.
How Many People Change Sections At Each Running? That to is also randomly decided! It is 1 or 2 (3 depending on how many people. It is drawn for each running and effects all sections.
How Do I Know Your Not Fixing The 'Events' Mr Skunk? The drawing will be recorded and posted on YouTube.
How Many People In A Section?/How Many Sections? It all depends on how many people want to take part.
What If I Want To Drop Out? Players can only drop out at the end of a running. They will count as a 'demotion'. So if there is one person to be demoted for section 2, but one person drops out then however was last would not get demoted. Please note that players can not drop out once the settings have been drawn.
Are There Any Joining Prerequisites? Yes, your boot rate must be 5% or below and you must have competed in at least 100 ranked games. Apart from that it's open to anybody!
Are The Games Ranked? Due to the nature of the league the games are not ranked. They are all practise games.
Are Vacations Respected? Yes!
How Many Game Do I Play In At A Time? We want to keep it open to everyone. So you will play in only 2 games at a time.
Where Do I Sign Up? Just say in this forum post.
When Does The First Running Start? I aim to start in around 2 weeks. But it all depends on how many people are interested in playing.
How Can I Tell What Section I Am In? Apart from looking at the round robin tournament, a list of all the sections and settings will be posted in the forums.
How Do I Find The Results Of Other Sections? Results at the end of a running are posted in the forums. Including who get's promoted and demoted.
Can I Get Kicked From The League? If you are deemed to be purposefully holding up games or using more then 1 account you will be kicked.
How Are Games Set Up? I set up all the tournaments myself.
How Often Are Runnings? A new running starts 1 month after a previous running ends. A new running will never start within 3 days both ways of a mainstream public holiday. Eg: Christmas.
