CORP seems like an obvious option. Beyond that, consider Falcons, {W.U.}, {rp}, Wolves (if you don't mind being surrounded by 13 year olds), and maybe USSR.
I tried CORP but they kinda left me hanging which is disappointing because I was looking forward to joining them. Wolves and their affiliates are only a last resort for me. USSR did sound like a viable option but Im not too sure as I've only ever really played any games with any of them that really stood out...maybe Im just being picky? Idk, I just want a clan that Id be able to comfortably fit into but its kinda hard when nobody really gives you any incentive to join them :/
CORP- heard they're active AF when it comes to games and tournaments
Falcons- consciously trying to improve as a clan and open to new ideas
W.U.- really good at roleplaying
{rp}- set up the most interesting RP games, ones that would often be unplayable without mature players like those in the clan. Basically lets you enjoy diplos again and allows you to experience them at their best
Wolves- big enough to have everything, some good strategy players, mapmakers, etc.
USSR- fun, good players if you dig past the inactives/high boot rates
Not sure what the public thinks of the Juggernauts, but we try to stay pretty active with diplos, occasionally play strategic games, and at least the top layer is composed of mature, relatively skilled players.
Sorry about CORP leaving you hanging. I am on vacation and Ox doesn't have MR himself. Not sure who has MR other than Kazuki right now, but the clan was very fast about inviting people and probably still is. I mean, they added a few members in the past two days so it looks like your application just got lost somewhere in the process. I know that we talked about it in the Council but we were distracted by some other issues so I don't know whether they got back to the topic.
Perhaps message Kazuki directly and set up a game with him.
Eh booting isn't too much of an issue for us though we do not do one particular thing for too long, we have a Feudal Japan RP going right now and we do strategic WW templates with T4R from time to time. Announcements are normally made on our forums when a new game is up so it's up to you what you join. Anywho I can say good things about all the clans you've contemplated.
Respect you Kynte you done a lot of great things at Corp mate. Sometimes you just need a break from certain aspects so you can just enjoy yourself more.
