Given that you said you were planning on replacing the clan system, how high is the risk that existing clans will be wasted investments? Or will the price of whatever replaces clans be the same (so no feeling like you've wasted money by not waiting and no needing to pay even more money to "upgrade" your clan to whatever comes next) with existing clans being grandfathered in?
Basically, what should existing clans expect when the change rolls around? If there hasn't been anything concrete done there, is there anything you can guarantee?
Not that $15 is a particularly big deal, but I want to know whether it'd be a waste of money to not just wait until the new system comes in.

Um, I think the idea is to have a clan ladder and/or ranking system. Why would that make it pointless to have one? I think any changes (IF they happen, as he has lots to do), would make clans more valuable not less.

Well, if the system is replaced, I assume clans won't be just out their investment. they will just have whatever it looks like in the new system.
If I were a betting man, I would say the clan system gets no changes for years. As Fizzer said, it effects a portion of all people on here as most have no clan. Why would he put that above something that impacts everyone?

Fizzer said that he will allow clans with "WarLight" in their names to change their names free of charge when we switch over to Warzone, so I presume if he changes the clan system, clans will remain. Quite a few clans no longer have the person who bought the clan in them (eg. Vitrix Mortallis and The Lost Wolves) so I don't know how it will work... we'll have to wait and see.

I don't think they would eliminate it Falcon, unless it was being replaced with another system. It takes very little upkeep from them, makes at least a small amount of money, and doesn't really have a downside that I can see.
I hope they don't replace clans though, I just think they need a revamp. But as was said above, I doubt that happens in the next year or two, so you're probably safe to buy one if you're thinking about it.
