That thing provided different drinks with levers or buttons and was inventd by two brothers. I believe as same as the first money machine. I had a sit on my bookmarks for a huge lnteractive list of inventions. I don't where the link is now.
Random googling says first slot machine is stettman and pitt.

Yes, it is shame that all use his Latin name - he is Nikolai Kopernik, not some Coppernickelus.

The first english worlwide reputed english academy of science dealt with ghosts at first. It was new and supernatural beings were not proven or disapproven.
I want to live into those times to become a scientist with few education and famous unlike today ages where knowledge is huge and everything.
Aristotle believed the sky was split in two only. The sun would rotate around earth obviously however the other sky is normal and has flying rocks.
Copernic promoted a model that is double circular because it helps calculations. The planets would turn around normally and they also have a cycle around a fictious point on the trajectory. This would compensate for the elliptical curves. And make calendars easier to calculate. This is why copernic model was not popular.
I think it is double epicyclic.

That's not why the Kopernik model was not popular.
Even Kopernik, a strong Catholic, himself did not like his theories.

And Sedna is a beautiful piece of poesy. I just red it because it is referred a lot in litterary works a lot.
I can't find it in crap google. It gives me video games. I red it in a huge reference book callef latin poesy simply. Another great poem I remember is a husband praising his wife for being very virtuous. They are both romans. The husband is searched or hunted for some reason. She gives all her jewelry to help him and becomes poor. They are both safe. In the end, the woman discovers she is not fertlie (always must be women...). The man does not care about children and just wants to be happy and live forever with her. The wife convinces him to marry someone else. She will becomd his sister instead. Another sacrifice is made. The woman lives shorter. I find this sad personally. She is so virtuous and made so many sacrifices. She also risked greatly her life by sending him money or food while the man was hiding from the authories.
In the end, the husband retells all the virtuous acts she made and praises once more. I can't find the famous poem about the vulcan maybe it is vesuve.
