PLEASE READ:
I am hosting a tournament for NON-MEMBERS only. The prize will be the awesome prize of a lifetime membership paid for by me personally ($30). I will take the first 128 people that respond to this post. If you respond, I will send you an invite so post FAST!
Why am I doing this? Well I think people need a picker-upper around here and to have something to play for. Not only will this make someone really happy but it will bring a fierce competitor into the member community. So please, tell your friends about this sweet offer!
*side note: if you actually have been planning on buying a membership please do so to support Randy and his wonderful efforts. I'm just putting this tournament on for people who need it the most. Also, if you win this membership, please share it with your friends and make a bunch of open games for other non-members to play.
Specs:
Double-Elimination 1v1 tournament in the old strategic settings on the original earth with a few tweaks. If you lose once, you still have a shot at the top. Keep in mind, in order to make this tournament move quickly, there is an Auto-Boot of 3 days set up so be weary about the time.

Hey! I was going to create something just like this :)
I'm glad Ruthless posted this though since this saves me the work of having to organize it.
I'm happy to front the bill for the membership so Ruthless doesn't have to. Him organizing the tournament is thanks enough :)
This will be the first of many - so don't fret if you get eliminated, just keep practicing for the next one!
