I'm not actually Japanese just here on vaca. I'm seriously considering whether to partake in an exchange program where I study and live in Japan for a semester. Also please don't refer to Japanese or any other ethnics that may seem exotic, oriental, or foreign to yourself as "ooh I've never seen your rare species before!" It comes off across as bigoted and ignorant. As an American my eyes have been opened during my short stay here and I have really developed a respect and admiration for the culture and society of Japan and other foriegn countries.
Just because they are different, does not make them lesser. If anything from what I have seen we could learn a great deal from people of other ethnic backgrounds and cultures all over the world and not treat them as exotic "species".
PS:sorry if I came across as overly stern or sensitive, but during my stay here I have come to realize how ridiculous and ignorant our views were of other cultures and people we deemed "exotic" were (Japanese, Indian, Chinese, African, Middle Eastern, etc)
Thats usual most people call you exotic because you are so rare in this mostly homogeneously American game , I respect you on being an American on vacation . Its actually true that asain and other nations are considered "exotic in certain games.
