1v1 ladder looks like it's stopped again.

People can jump that high yes. That happens pretty often if you beat great players, or if you leave/come back to ladder

You know how, when you change the water temperature in a shower, it takes a bit of time to adjust because you've still got some water at the previous temperature in the system? The ladder's got a similar delay- in this metaphor, your actual skill is the temperature you set but your measured skill is the temperature of the water that flows out.

You can cause it to change much faster by increasing water flow (playing more games) or changing the temperature drastically (getting much better/worse very quickly). And if that happens, then a 20-rank leap isn't unheard of.

knyte is at a very good analogy-per-week rate, recently.

I mean, not all of them are good. Comparing Lolicon love <3 to a creepy mermaid that jumped on a boat and assaulted the figurehead with its cloaca was kind of a low.

Yeah I've been joined to the rt ladder for about an hour now, (with people in the lobby) and no new games have been started since I joined

Real Time Ladder doesn't work since Sunday. People are in but no new games are creted
