I wish fizzer would put more effort into updating the app instead of making more cards that in my opinion aren't really necessary. Players like myself who primarily use the app to play are missing out on great features that the web offers.
Not to mention the bomb card isn't even available to that many players since you have to be such a high level to unlock it. Meanwhile app improvements could potentially bring in more players and help retain some that don't use the site at all.
Fizzer tends to keep a lot of the good features up at a high level so people will be more likely to buy a membership and get it all instantly. Scaling the level ladder is quite doable though.
I can confirm, The bomb card was an easy feature to add, just a few hours. It was first used to promote Coin games. And after that, it was made available to all Membership users.
Bomb card is not available if you level up high. Only Members. We are trying to raise revenue so that we can grow the game. Personally I use bomb cards in all games I make. I love it. Stacking a huge army finally has a counter strategy.
I do think a clan ladder/ranking system would bring in more revenue (right now there is little incentive to buy a clan).
I also don't think it would be a huge amount of coding. knyte has a thread pulling the data, it is just a matter of deciding on what data/formulas to use. I'm sure the community can come up with a system there as long as knyte can set up pulling it automatically. Then you guys could adopt that system really easily.
