Wondering what you guys think about this. Personally, I find it annoying and frustrating to have to hit the history button every turn, to make sure I don't attack into a bonus with a wasteland.

I think it would be helpful if territories that begin as wastelands could also start with no fog and remain unfogged until they are attacked. I just think this would save a lot of players a lot of aggravation. In my ideal scenario, the territories surrounding the wasteland would remain under whatever fog was chosen by the creator.

That wouldn't work. As games go on and in certain situation a person should attack a wasteland if he has a spare amount of troops unneeded.

There should be a Dot. Indicating a wasteland not showing the territory just maybe the territory is highlighted in orange and red stripes indicating danger.

Uservoice my idea or this.

Wastelands are shown full clear when distribution.

Now what if the territory where the wasteland is at... After distribution is highlighted in a different colour. Red for danger.

That would work. Again, like pooncrew said, any solution that prevents me from having to check the history every turn. If changing the fog color does it, I'm okay with it.

Maybe in manual distribution, wastelanded territories could be fogged slightly different to save us keep going to the history tab. Maybe something like this.

It would not work. If I blockade a territory with 3 (should result in 10) then it would have to display that under your logic. I don't think warlight stores any data for wastelands, which would make sense because sometimes it is logical to break a wasteland.

Maybe an option for you to click a button and see the wastelands and picks in distribution? Idk. I don't think the coding for a different color of fog or some ping would make sense. Maybe just a button that automatically goes back to the distribution history. Oh.. wait.. clicking history.. does exactly that.

Weird we were all having a friendly conversation until Lolowut entered the topic with this attitude, we all agreed that we don't like having to click on the history. It's a workaround for now, but something could easily be addressed to make this a more friendly interface.

Depends on how fog is implemented. I think it's implemented as part of some display function that determines how a territory looks to each user. If that's the case, then it probably won't take too much time/effort to make that tweak as part of a larger graphics/UX update.

In real time take a screenshot of the distribution and keep it open in another tab.

You can just open the game in another tab, open History, and go back to Distribution as well.

I usually click "home"

I like clement Attlee's idea & picture the most.

I 'd like it as an option in auto-distribution as well.(especially with heavy fog)
Auto distribution gives plenty of randomness without having to guess where wastelands are.
