I participate in it, and regularly download pirated games.

What do you think?

it's wrong on PC but ok on DS.

I pirate Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PSP, DS.

how do you pirate xbox games?
plus to me all is ok except the PC

You make ravioli for a living. There may be many ravioli, but yours is special and unique in its own ways. You sell it at a somewhat expensive price. You often sell seasoned ravioli for extra prices. A lot of people will buy your ravioli, agreeing to the prices and that it's fair for the quality of the ravioli.

Some people will steal from you, knowing that despite the hard work you put into your ravioli, they are inconsiderate thieves.

well, technically, i don't. i have a friend that does.

I would though, If I was willing to risk bricking my xbox 360.

i do pirate the rest though.

Oh almost forgot the ending.

Eventually the ravioli thieves were caught. They all received 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Before they left for prison, a pissed off Italian shot them with his boomstick.

The Italian was later sued by the ravioli thieves, and won a $85,000 settlement.

True moral of the story - the legal system is f*ck'd.

But hey, now the thieves can actually buy the ravioli!

yeah i want games for my xbox but don't have much money since i fuel my other hobbies.

It's not theft because they still have it. I am against copyright laws in general.

yeah but it stops revenue to the devs and with the niche indie games that are first time games if everyone pirates it there will never be more. it stops innovation and the whole indie scene.

But- anyone who actually pirates nows how to stay safe:

1). Don't seed. Most people get caught seeding.
2). never download porn through torrents. ever. the porn companies would sooner sue than have their porn taking down from sights.
3). a company must usually file a legal suit against you, as police rarely investigate people who are simply downloading
4). Don't pirate music.


my own private rules:
1). Only pirate stuff by looking up "get *name of video game* free on youtube*" then, ignore all videos where the person isnt speaking. then, READ ALL COMMENTS PAST COUPLE OF MONTHS.

then download, and scan with bit defender.

We have copyright laws to promote creativity and invention.

It's also there so that you can't steal another's idea and make it yourself.

It's also there nowadays so that you don't steal money from people.
