Trump wants to make it easier for good people to enter the US, and impossible for bad people AKA criminals to enter the US, which is what needs to happen. I heard on a talk show that the US already has laws that would solve the problem, and that we just aren't enforcing them. I don't know how true that is, but I'm just putting it out there.
