So I was in the same situation a while back. lvl ladder, 2v2 ladder, seasonal ladder, 10 tournaments, and clan stuff. My solution was to drop the lvl ladder (playing the same template over and over with little improvement was getting boring), I surrendered in all the tournaments that it looked like I would lose if things kept going the way they were going and I held my sanity together long enough for the seasonal ladder to end. Now I can actually make templates and do all this other stuff that I want to do.

tldr: focus on the rewarding or fun stuff. Stop wasting your time on stuff you liked a long time ago.

Adults are basically saying they hate what they used to be and forget how silly and stupid kids can be. Though Platinum, you overestimate yourself, why did you feel the need to write this? Everyone couldn't care less at your unfinished tournaments, bad school results and whatever you have done in this pointless 3 months of your life. You are only getting at attention from lesser people because they feel the need to troll you or they get easily annoyed or angered.

Crack on with whatever you need to do, but within a mature manner. Schools more important than warlight status, which you cannot gain with threads like these anyway. You will only gain the best of both if you concentrate on things that really matter, which this thread doesn't or breaking the record for most tournaments created at once...

Oh for the love of god... People aren't reading this proper.

What is the purpose of this thread?

1. Life Storys.. I personally find them very interesting.. I read loads of them on Reddit. This is a Warlight story.. I encourage everyone to do one.. People would find them interesting.. Thats one purpose of this thread which is really shadowed by the issues posted by others.

2. Just Telling others of my mistakes which I hope will prevent mistakes for you!

I know people couldn't give a shit about myself.. I don't blame you. But I want you all to not make the mistake I made.. It is just awful and is welcoming abuse from you with every door open.

3. Why do people think I'm taking Warlight as my life.. ?

I got my very big exam results ;) and did comfortably well (Considering I did no study) :D

I'm In a year where I do no academic core activities... Can you read this sentence people? The main activitys I do in school for one year is just life-training-skills... Why can't you read this please and stop telling me I'm taking this more important.

If you have read this.. Thanks..

My own Warlight story....

Once upon a time, a college freshman named 'Haiku575' discovered Warlight. He played some diplomacy games, managed to piss a bunch of people off, and eventually settled into the world of clan management, paired with Dr. Stupid and the League of Erroneous Aspirations.

He renamed himself briefly to 'Lord of the Flies', but the name never really stuck. Soon after, he renamed himself to 'Kasparov' and began learning the art of 1v1.

After some time, he is contacted by a competitive clan, and they tell him he should try out for them. He does. They rudely reject him, and their leaders get blacklisted, never to be spoken to again.

However, the temptation of competitive playing became too much for Kasparov previously known as Lord of the Flies; given a taste of a world that never really existed in the LEA, he vows to get his main account into a competitive clan, while still assisting in LEA management.

He then tries out for a few other competitive clans, most of whom politely (and some not so politely) ignore/reject him.

At around this point, he notices a lack of cohesive leadership in Illuminati and offers to take it over, to steer it into a competitive clan to focus on teaching skill to newer players -- something which was never a possibility when he was a new player. Illuminati accepts, and Kasparov slowly molds himself into the entity known as 'Forbidden Knowledge'.

Also, he ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ alt which ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.

Forbidden Knowledge, previously Kasparov, previously Lord of the Flies, previously Haiku575, then leads the clan and assembles a fantastic group of players, which still exist today. At some point however, FK realizes that he is a true addict and most overcome his addiction. He tries to retire, renouncing all claims to leadership of his clans, and successfully leaves for three weeks. Then he relapses, and, upon returning finds out that he can't log into FK, decides to start a new character and find some kind of balance between Warlight and reality.

And now we come to the current chapter:

*All* people, or *some* people?

I thought some of the responses were very good and took into account many of the things you mention in this latest comment, such as: 1. Life Stories ... 2. Just Telling others of [our] mistakes which [we] hope will prevent mistakes for [others]!

As for "Why do people think I'm taking Warlight as my life.. ?", personally I didn't take it that way, but I *did* take your OP as expressing *anxiety* over having too many commitments, esp. Warlight games commitments.

In regards to:

Can you read this sentence people? The main activitys I do in school for one year is just life-training-skills... Why can't you read this please and stop telling me I'm taking this more important.

Well, that wasn't apparent from the OP, so perhaps it's forgivable that most people wouldn't have known that when they wrote their responses.

As for my response, it should apply regardless of what your other commitments are, or how many you have, because the main thing I focus on is your own personal report of anxiety/overwhelm/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. My main focus was on taking one's own mental health seriously. It's something that, unfortunately, many people in the world today do *not* take very seriously, for whatever reasons, and this is the cause of much suffering. I believe it's something that is worthy of emphasizing when I see a good opportunity to do so, which is why I replied as I did.
