Here are my thoughts on the dev league. The reason for this is that some clans have more people that want to play CL than they can use and/or want to compete better without using people who are learning more.

Platinum is going to run this league, but I will lay out the rules here.

In an effort to keep it simple, but parallel current CL, I will trim the templates some. Otherwise I think clans will have a hard time fielding 5 people for both leagues. The max templates will still be 4 per player, no alts allowed. If someone plays in CL, they cannot play in dev league in the same season (but may in following seasons).

Format are top 3 1v1 templates (from CL voting), top 2 2v2 templates, top 3v3 template = 10 player slots. So you need 3 players min, 4 would be best.

For this season, it will be these templates (voted on by CL A)...

1v1
Strat ME
Battle Islands
Greece

2v2
Strat ME
Guiroma

3v3
EU 0% SR

As an incentive to get this rolling, I will give the winner of the dev league a vote on the templates for season 8. That may or may not continue next season (I will ask the council). This season will only be a single division of around 7, so first come first serve. We can add additional divisions next season.


Please sign up here if you want in, and post your rosters (if you do not post your roster, it does not count as a sign up, since time is short). If you need to pull someone off your main CL team for this, please do so accordingly.

Also, a clan does not have to play in the CL to play here. It can be used as a warm-up for CL

DANKLORDS are in. Roster will be modified version of what we sent earlier

Why are we letting an obviously A league team play in the dev league? Pfft. I protest the DANKLORDS joining the dev league.

Also we should rename this league to the 'Little Apex league'

The development league is a great opportunity. Any clan that has the players and decide to decline on this should get a shot to the foot.

Your players don't need to be good. This is a place for them to improve.

Or.. You can keep your current players active by giving each member game time.

It's a great opportunity which doesn't come often.

When is this starting?

I would like to join personally, if enough of my other games end by the start time. :)

It will start soon as it will parallel clan league. But I will probably create the CL tourney's first, then we can start this later that week. I would say 2-3 weeks from now it will be going.

Are we allowed to have players on the same roster play in both leagues? Like I play for Turtles in Devel league and Masters for Clan League. (just an example I don't think I would actually do that)

Correct. Otherwise what we could do is compete in A, but since we all play like 2 templates, we'd also play 1-2 templates in the dev league. If all the top clans do that, it is really no longer a dev league and newer clans have no shot.

French will be in. This league is an opportunity to our medium players to make their proof in team league.

REGL is in provided we can get a roster before it's full. I'll be sending our roster along with our CL teams.
