Hey guys, I'm thinking about making a best plays on Warlight montage. If you guys have any insane plays you've made could you mail me the game and specify what turn? It can be 1v1 2v2 or 3v3 strategic settings. If I get a lot of one template I'll split the videos into templates instead of just overall best plays.

They can be anything from great predictions, impactful plays that changed the game, but I'm mainly looking for something I'd look at and immediately be like: Holy shit

And no Genghis, it does not mean the games you've had on my livestreams.

I nominate that game, Sze vs somebody --vicnus maybe?-- in one of TWM's live-streamed strat 1v1. It was the one with the SA blockade, surely someone remembers that one.

And/or that one Timi won vs deaf piggy, introducing his theories on blockade + transfer-only.

I only know the second one and I agree, it was an "holy shit" experience.

Also I am curious what people come up with. And I am glad I don't have to do all the filtering.

Do two turns wins count ? If it is bad play from opponent

I have some long games that are insightful with some interesting distro. I can agree to share witb opponent if educational and not.too shameful. It is also no triple pick

And I may get another win against kryzchu. :p

@Peixoto: I thought your 2nd one was best of those 3. Multi-attack definitely allows a lot of outplay potential.

Yeah the blockade between Piggy and Timi will definitely be in. Idk if I can do the Szew vs MotD one, it's a clever blockade but it's hard to see from that turn how great that blockade is. You have to watch the next couple of turns to realize just how that 1 extra turn to border CA absolutely destroys MotD's momentum. I think I commentated for it.

My favorite "FTB" https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=2026821

The guy has an army advantage and I was expecting full attacks. So I said to my teammate "If you send me enough armies first order, I think I might be able to clear Iceland to take the bonus." We figured out how much would be good for me and him. My 4 attack was too heavy and I probably would make at least one more delay today, but it worked. Turn 2 he was eliminated. It was funny.

Wow. That first turn was absolutely perfect for your team. This is a holy shit moment.

I don't really see the luck, neither were pursuing first turn orders, and cyan even made the mistake of hitting order priority card into the only territory pink could feasibly deploy to. Not quite what I'm looking for but a good game nonetheless.

Sze's blockade was clever. Good job of reading the orders to assume Antarctica (or did he know from picks?). In any case, the lack of a blockade in Antarctica and the slow-play of armies in "Indonesia" lost momentum for MoD, which allowed the blockade in SA to become the winning move. Blockade in Ant and keep the momentum/pressure in "Indonesia" and the blockade wouldn't have been the definitive move in the game, but a runner up to MoD's winning moves. I assume this was in real time (by the somewhat sloppy play). Maybe Sze had an advantage in that respect.

Sze's blockade reminded me of when I used a blockade against him. At that time (maybe still), he loved to eat blockades for their income. So I made a blockade big enough to kill his armies but small enough to tempt him to take it. He took the bait. I think it was the reason he lost. It's not a holy shit moment. More like a cancer that eats away at the patient.

By the end of Turn 6, the player in the light green, had leap-frogged my income, from 29 up to 33, but I was also fairly certain that I could own everything North and West of Me given enough time, and a little diplomacy.

By the end of Turn 8, I was pretty well in command of the income, even if I didn't show it with a buildup of armies, they both seemed to know it from my territorial expanse.

It is my favorite victory, in part because of how my strong picks turned out well for me. :)

https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=8372569

My very first victory.
At the beginning of Turn 6, the player in the green decides to boot the player in the brown,
and jumps their own income from 22 against my 18 all the way to 30 against my 18... and I didn't get anywhere until Turn 8, nor did I surpass their income until early in Turn 9... thank god for a FFA against other newbies.

At the beginning of Turn 11, the player in the blue surrenders.
By the end of that turn, I had cut the income of the rival in the green in half.

It's my other major victory.
