i wonder if the following phenomenon happens to me only:

i don't use ad-blockers, and i'm verysure about that because ads pop up very regular when i'm playing warlight.
however, sometimes i get the information that warlight was not able to show an ad. this is in particular the case when warlight is under heavier load (so it's not my fault).

it happened to me today that i got dimished points only in several games what i find very galling.

another thing is that i'm punished twice. the pop-up that i shouldn't use an ad-blocker (what i don't do) is much more enerving than ads (as you have to wait longer and can't click them away manually). so this punishment should be enough, i think. no need for a further punishment.

and please no smart-alec comments that i should pay. i prefer supporting this site by watching ads. that should ok for everybody in a free world.

i tell you, this is not the case.
why should i get these messages without changing anything else, and later ads appear again?
(same browser, same computer, same internet connection)

I have the same problem.

This used to happen to me because I was using Ghostery to block trackers. I guess it registers as an ad blocker on some sites. I added this site to a whitelist and it seemed to do the trick.

i don't think that this is the problem. why should i have the problem today, but not yesterday and tomorrow although using exactly the same hardware and software?

when you temporarily lose your connection with warlight (due to slow internet, no internet or slow warlight) it can happen that the warning appears

There is an issue happening with Google's Flash ads right now that's causing ads to fail to display for some players. I'm really sorry about that, and I'm working to resolve the issue.

I have temporarily removed the point penalties that people might receive for ad-blocker, since otherwise the game would think that players affected by this issue are running an ad-blocker. Therefore, it's OK for you to simply ignore the white pop-up box that says the ad failed to display -- you won't receive any penalty for it.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I appreciate that you all took the time to report it.

I didnt report anything,because this happens to me from before without any ad-blocker and ads ON.
But the good thing is that I didnt receive any unfair penalty.

but what about all the penalties we got today? it's really a bit frustrating that we lost points for nothing.
unfortunately, three players at once surrendered at the same time and i lost about 6000 points that way :-(

Confirming that this issue can appear, in correlation to WL server load (at least in terms of slow respone). Adblocker is disabled for the whole domain, and most of the time i see the same two or three ads over and over again, only sometimes the message.

i have vdsl connection, very fast, perfect computer and evry time a pop-up appears this messaged appears as well. FIX IT!!!!!!!!!
