knyte's only detriments are that he does not know how to write diplomatically and to extent, well at all and he does not understand proper punishment-deed ratii.

Not quite true either. I replaced the flag with the Scorpio Dojo Flag after getting dojo flags to be a thing and being the deciding vote (due to inactivity; I was initially abstaining) on the only Most Honorable Dojo monthly contest so far to actually go to completion.

While I was the person who actually kicked Loli from the clan, I was also the only person who voted for Loli to stay in the clan (it was 4-1; I believe Achilles was abstaining). I have no quarrel with Loli.

More accurately, I have no incentive to write diplomatically at this stage. This is a game community I'm no longer a part of- I have nothing to lose by having enemies here or being honest.

Yeah. Math Wolf is a good person to have in charge, but I don't think hijacking is something Statisticians need to worry about. Instead, we're a bit lonely in here since not that many people seem to be interested in inferential statistics (which makes me sad, because it's a really cool field that opens the door to other cool fields- like machine learning and neural computation).

Speaking only as an ordinary WarLight player and an ordinary CORP member,

I find this entire thread most disappointing.

Further, as a CORP member, I wish to apologize for the excessive amount of drama caused by my clan since I joined.


.Specifically, I wish I to apologize for the recent hijacking of our clan, and the display of the Nazi Flag on our clan page, next to our names on the forums and in games.

I wish to personally disavow any support or intentional promotion of Nazi actions, beliefs, propaganda, symbols, etc.

I know that my clan mates are also very sorry about this hijacking, and wish to disavow any support as well, as I have seen their posts and messages to that effect.

I also know that I have personally caused inappropriate drama on these forums, and I wish to apologize for that as well.

Among other things, I should not have accused Juq of hijacking our clan.

If I wanted to say anything at all on that, I should have dramatically reduced my assumptions and my conclusions and overall just been a lot more diplomatic, both on that topic and many others.

I'm not going to ask Colonel where he got the notion that any of the following was relevant to this thread, but in any event, here we go:

I have never set foot in any of the British Isles, let alone Ireland or Ulster, although I would love to travel to the homelands of my ancestors someday, including Ireland.

My gamer nametag is one that I created many years ago for a game based on a mythical warrior storyline for my first MMORPG, called Utopia.

I wasn't really into superheroes, definitely not into representing a villain, and I wanted something unique.

I could have gone with Lord Picard, King Riker, or something similar, but again I wanted something very unique.

I have received invites out of the blue from a couple of players from stargatewars.com to have drinks at the nearest Dublin bar in their neighborhood.

I have quite a few friends in Great Britain, and I have been a member of clans with large numbers of British residents.

Originally, I was Lord Dublin Warrior, Chieftain of the Irish Highlanders
(because I knew that Scotland had such a group, and mountain men tend to be a scary bunch.)

I sympathize with the political goals of the IRA, and their emotional struggle with Northern Ireland not becoming independent,
but I do not sympathize with the methods of the IRA, nor have I ever sympathized with their methods.

Northern Ireland stayed with Great Britain as part of a democratic vote as part of a democratic process, which I very much support. Further, I agree with the Falkland Islands staying with Great Britain for the same reason: a democratic vote as a part of a democratic process.

If I did support the methods of the IRA, I'd have to be okay with indigenous American Indians rising up in the same way, and I'm not, nor have I ever been.

Perhaps that's because I and my immediate family, going back a minimum of at least two generations (and most probably three or more), have all been born and raised in the USA.

I'm sorry that my name caused you grief, but I'm not the kind of person that you seem to think I am. :-/
