I'm going to particularly like the new local deployment feature, ive never used it and wonder how it will work out!

I've played a few games on it. All I will say is that it's worth going into places with expansion options, and good to get a small bonus near your opponent. Supply chains are essential. The only negative is that it can sometimes be difficult to press home your advantage, which leads to longer games.

You don't get the point. If you played at least one game or just even have a half of an idea about how local deployment works, you could make sense. But as your original post said, you absolutly have no idea about what it is, how it works, how will affects your low 1v1 skills, but hey, lets just say everybody i'm excited!!!
