I was at the Junts Pel Si victory rally, and the national day. I'm Northern Irish and a student of politics so I went because it was interesting not because I believe them.

I think Catalonia should be given a referendum and it would fail. They should also be given the same monetary powers as Navarro and the Basque Country.

Independence is a bit far and has too many unanswered questions, notably on the EU and the Euro.

Like the voting's gonna matter. Spain knows it's doomed without Catalonia, even if they gain independence it'll probably become another FYROM-Greece thing with Spain blocking Catalonia from joining the EU and NATO.

Doesn't Galicia also want independence? And the Basques?

When the so-called Flanders region in northern "Belgium" (I doubt Belgium's existence) is going to be independent then we Flemish are going to get really happy because then we will finally live in an existing country!

Serbia is having some independence problems.... looking at you FYROM.... even after destroying the Russian Empire, Russia supports Serbia and refuses to acknowledged poor Macedonia. Maybe its for the best, last time Macedonia existed it Blitzkreiged into India.

Macedonia has independence, Vojvodina does not want independence. Serbia has no independence problems anymore, those times are over, now it is Kosova's Serbs that want autonomy or unification with Serbia.

Serbia did not destroy the Russian Empire, they were even on the same side in the First World War. Macedonia is a 100% UN-fully recognized country. As for Kosova, well, as soon as America recognizes Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Yes, many of these movements are exaggerated, half of them seem made by kids who think it would be cool if their region/province had their own country. They also exclude quite a few, I don't like this map terribly.

Bavarian independence is by no means a serious matter, haha.

Independent Western Isles, Orkney, and Shetland is even more laughable.
