I was just wondering if there was anyone else on Warlight who doesn't line up very well on the usual left-to-right political spectrum. If you fit this description you probably feel uncertain with political groups who strictly confine themselves to Left wing or Right wing policies.

For an example: I'm (usually) conservative on social issues, but (usually) liberal on economic ones. So my politics are a sorta weird blend of traditional values mixed with Socialism. I've yet to find a good term for this, or find an existing group to match it. The closest thing we have in the U.S are a fraction of Democrats in the Mid-West and South which are Pro-Labor, Pro-Working class, etc. but also vote against things like abortion.

That's just an example though, you don't have to match it. I'm just looking for anyone who doesn't match up as completely liberal or completely conservative.

I don't like so much of my money going to aboriginals and I care deeply about the environment.

I tend to be a lot like you. Then again, for us stuff like Obamacare is considered normal, fine and undebatable. It also has prolonged my father by ten years and counting.

Yea, more conservative greens. ;) FOR THE GREEN ARMY! Jokes aside, we have a nice political party here in Bavaria that might interest you: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecological_Democratic_Party

If polls are anything to go off of, I am a slight right-wing moderate, aka Centrist.

If you're American, I suggest you take it, regardless of how accurate of inaccurate it is.

Obamacare was a great idea that's been horribly implemented.

I care deeply about the environment.

Yea, more conservative greens. ;)

It's nice to know other pro-environment conservatives are out there. Climate change is probably the biggest threat to our future but it gets so little attention compared to other issues.

I also read that link about the Ecological Democratic Party. I like their style. Agree with them almost one-hundred percent. Tis a shame we don't have a group like them over in my country.

Well, there's centrism with high deviation, I forget what the word is, but left on some issues, right on others.

I'd put that closest to Authoritarianism or Totalitarianism, maybe Liberalism. If you were Irish and in Britain (country), would Sinn Féin be your party? Take this quiz.

Martian, i do the test for fun. ;) I have a question: What does "Should able-bodied, mentally capable adults who receive welfare be required to work?" mean?

Welfare is a system that is there to help those who are not getting by on their own, for whatever reason. Some try to take advantage of welfare and do not work, getting a free ride from the government. These "able-bodied, mentally capable" adults may need welfare, but there lies the question: Should they be able to not work and just use welfare to get by?

No problem.

Bernie Sanders is a Democratic runner, who is completely overshadowed by Hillary Clinton.

I do not like that program thou. I think getting money from taxing companies or reducing military spending is a great difference. You could tax your weapon manufacturers and increase military funding at the same time after all. ;) So i do not think i would vote for him. There is not an authoritarian green politician... :(

ok first of all we have Daniel Cohn-Bendit, someone you must know since he is French and German, he is into german and french politics at the same time, and used to be the president of "Europe Ecologie les verts" for the European parliament.
Then you have many "chieftains" struggling for the leadership:
- Cécile Duflot, she is in the leadership, and his very arrogant, authoritative and does not support any critics.
- Jean Vincent Placé, he recently left the party because he was butthurt about being evinced from the leadership, he is criticizing the current political changes of his party because he feels like EELV is going too far to the left political spectrum. He alongside some other EELV leaders were involved in scandals (like he never paid any of his contravention while he drove too fast, he owed 20.000 euros to the justice)
He left the party alongside De Rugy and Barbara Pompii, because they were jusst pissed and too egocentric, and could not agree to not be considered as leaders.
- Eva Joly, she was candidate for the last presidential elections, and lost with a very small score (the smallest ever for ecologists)
-Noël Mamère, ancient leader still famous and one of the most appreciated leader.

People in the French green party are selfish, arrogant, and excepted few people, they do not care about their own electorate.
This is why the green party in France has so low scores (1/2%), sadly, because I usually would vote for them, and I know many other French that would vote if they werent this stupid perpetual leadership crisis and egocentrical battle of the bosses.

What about doing it yourself then? :D Let us form a coalition to conquer the EU and establish an ecological dictatorship out of it. ;)

well, not only in Europe then... I dont think Europe is late about ecological matters, many other countries should start to worry a little more about our beloved small blue planet.
