Have you ever seen 8 stickies on the "Forum Posts" board?
And it has lasted for a few days!

So an outdated (ended) event "WGL 3.0 #4" is finally replaced by a new sticky.
Oh well... but wait... "Chess puzzles again!". What is this?? O.o
It is an off-topic about chess. How come it could become a sticky?! o.0

Do you still remember what the "Forum Posts" board is for when the developer introduced it?
It offers users a convenient way to check the latest posts on the forum. Some people hate it because they don't give a shxx about forum posts, but it is very handy for those who want it.
I don't need to click to visit the forum every time to check whether there are any new threads/posts.
It helps the forum to get more traffic, and attract more people to post.
If I want to ask for opinions on the forum (like a new game idea), I would like to hear all players' opinions, instead of just the frequent visitors. This board helps a lot.

But it is completely "ruined" by the stickies now. It used to be just 3 or 4. There is no room for any latest threads/posts anymore. It's really crazy, isn't it? We'd better rename the board as "Promoted Forum Stickies". XDD

It is high time to expand the room if you have such a need for many stickies.
Let's expand it to 12, so we have at least 4 slots for the latest posts. Don't you think it is a good idea? ;-)

If you don't want, you could always have a better management of your stickies.
For a board with 8 slots only, I think it is wise to limit the stickies to max 4.

Take a look at the current board again.

It is an off-topic about chess. It has nothing to do with Warlight. I don't even understand why it got stickied in the first place.

The event is over long time ago. I think it isn't a bad idea to un-sticky it, especially when we are short of slots.

Map of the week discussion: Week 38
It is kind of a duplicate. There is "Map of the Week" board, and you can see the discussion link (that thread) when you click on "Vote on Next Week!".
If you want, I suggest you can add the discussion link here too. It makes more sense, and then you can free 1 slot on the "Forum Posts" board.


As a record, it has only 16 posts even if it has been stickied for 5 days.

No reply has been made since 9 Sep. There is no need to be a permanent sticky.
There is actually a better place for it - the Ladder page.
You can add that link there. It is better and more relevant.

Darn! The "All Forum Posts" is certified dead now.

Our forum system is still in the stone age. :-(

The sad thing is that a lot of szew posts are good, but so many of them don't deserve sticky status.

Sticky status is the colloquial for a very great award fizzer gives out once a week that is titled in full ver batim "The Right Honorable Warlight Fora Post of Notable Awe Inspired by the Dickens Authorized by the Warlight Staff Knight's Cross Knights Order Warlight Staff Order with Oak Leaf Clusters".

It's the highest award that Lord Fizzer can grant.

Well it means a thread which can be always on top on the "Forum Posts" board.
For example the thread "New CLOT: Random Bonuses Ladder!"
Since it is a sticky, it is still on the "Forum Posts" board even though it has received no reply for almost one month. That's a privilege.

Fizzer should expand it to at least 12 slots if he needs so many stickies.

Screenshot today - 7 stickies + 1 free slot!

Finally the admin pities us and gives back one slot (one only!) to us to peep at the forum activity. But it is still far from enough. We had 6-7 slots when it was first introduced!

Give back what we used to have. We want more. _o/ _o/ _o/

make an uservoice about it (however i'm starting to believe even posting an uservoice is useless, how many uservoices have been achieved yet? even for simple things...)
