Awesome that this has been made sticky already, because it seems to fit to what fizzer said. No idea what went wrong here, but i know that an official poll on this would have an entirely different outcome.

thanks for all the effort you put into organising the poll, even if some aren't happy with the results. I am sure everyone appreciates the fact you did it.

Anyway, like I said this poll was incomplete.

First, the ladders have had three recent luck settings: 16% WR, 0% WR, and 0% SR. This is what should be voted on.

Second, some people play the ladders without even knowing the luck settings. There should be a prerequisite question: What are the current luck settings on the ladders? If you don't know, you can't vote.

Third, people can vote muliple times. Gnuff always votes multiple times for things he is adamant about. A poll that prohibits this should be used.

Fourth, not everyone knows how luck settings influence attacks. There should be prerequisite questions about this. If you can't get 60% correct, you can't vote.

This poll is irrelevant but fizzer will take it as proof. Gnuff voting with alts might be an explanation for those results

i don't give a shit about 1v1 ladder setting, i am not playing soon anyway.

Oh, cool, the not-so-official poll with clear issues in preventing people from voting multiple times showed up about 50-50 for the 1v1 ladder.

I didn't vote in this poll because it was incomplete like Gui said. Waste of time imo.

For example: I would prefer 0% WR on the 2v2 ladder if it were 4 picks. 0% SR if it's 2-3 picks, because you will lack intel, thus should be able to not be punished for moving around the map.

I prefer 0% WR on the 1v1 ladder, if the map is moved to MME, then I don't care what luck settings there are, I don't like the map for 1v1s.

If we're going about just in general for a WarLight game, then neither, I prefer the luck settings to match the template's goals.

I don't trust the poll due to the creators agenda. First time I see it as well. Frizzer should set up a poll though and have all the players who can join the ladder vote.

Personally Im all for SR, it adds a different dynamic. It used to be the same players on top and now that is changing and warlight is evolving. I hate probability, I can be happy to know my opponent beat me because he had better calculation skills rather than he/she just won because I lost against a neutral.

I'm surprised my poll result thread got stickied. My original poll did not get stickied, and if my memory serves, there were 7 stickies on the "Forum Posts" board at that time, leaving only 1 slot for one other thread. I tried my best to bump the poll every day, so more players could see it and vote on it, making their voice heard. Still my poll thread sank fast. People who don't visit the forums directly often might have missed it.

It would have been much better if my poll got stickied too, but I think the result was not too bad. I got 187 players to vote despite the constraints that I faced.
