A friend of mine have started to make a map, but he have some problems with it .I will post his request :

''When I try to put the map in Warlight, it says that the size is too big and I don't know how to resize it. The recomanded size is 3300 px on 2400 px. I don't know how to make it smaller and the territories to be in it.''

If you know the solution, tell me fast .

Is the file size too big or the dimensions of the map?

its the map dimension. you can adjust it in inkscape. press shift+crtl+d. insert the frame size and minimize your map until it fits into the frame (if necessary).

As Ranek said, hit Shift+Ctrl+D, then change the size to measure by px, then make it the right size.

P.S. It would be better if you give a descriptive title like "Map size too big. How to resize?", instead of a generic one like "need help". :-)

Can't he post it on his own? Hahaha

He must ensure to reduce Document size first (What you have been said before) and then he should select ALL the objects and reduce them (It depends on the Inkscape version, but it should be easily visible without opening any menu). Once reduced, he should move them inside the document, ensuring all of them fits in, and I guess then it would be solved.

lol. now he have another problem .(and i understand him, since he makes his first map )
He made the map , put the names, but all the teritories are black (he made them black , amd i've told him to make them grey) and can't select them.
Anyone know the solution ?

I may be able to help your friend if he was to tell me (personally) who he is. I have started about two weeks ago so I'm getting used to this stuff.
