Look if i were mafia and i were being pressured into revealing my role first round and i saw this 4/7 votes on The Onion we need to make sure we don't lynch him in-till he can defend himself
I sure as hell wouldn't say anything or try to defend myself because if i revealed my true role i would probably get lynched, if i lied about my role someone else could have it the best course of action would be to say nothing in the hopes that people don't vote me simply because i hadn't explained myself.
