The 101st is a strategy based clan for intermediate and advanced skilled players.

What the clan offers:
•Clan league participation (Currently in Group C)
•Internal and external leagues and tournaments
•Joint tournaments with lynx and others
•Game Chats (including a joint lynx one also)
•Lynx tuition for those interested

If you're interested in joining the {101st} message Platinum AND Firehawk. But first check if you meet these requirements.
Requirements for the 101st:
• > 250 games
• < 10% boot
• > 40% in either 1v1 or 2v2 and 3v3

Platinum and Firehawk jave joined WarLight + 101st this year and booted old school Blowfly? 101st used to be a noob clan with a soul. Now it has even lost it's soul.

Good luck with wortheless clan jumpers like Warlight God who received his training in M'Hunters and then left M'Hunters to join..... this.

In all honesty, I have to side with YMBK a bit here... WTF happened in 101st... 2/3 of the entire clan got gutted! You want to become an elite clan? I'm sorry, but 101st is not in a position to become elite. Many people join 101st, because it is a transition clan to Lynx. As YMBK said, the clan has a long history, where people have become attached to the clan, and the community inside of it. Gutting the clan effectively kills the community... for what?

Also, I love this quote, from the VS clan page. " Competence. Winning is not everything, but remember, we are competitive. Win rates are not a primary factor, but if yours suck, you will need to demonstrate some other compelling attributes. :-) "

Win rates can be very inaccurate. Instead of arbitrary figures, you should be able to make judgement based off of games played when recruiting.

101st simply isn't in any position to become elite. You want to become semi-elite? The semi-elite market is already over-saturated. Players have much better options to go to rather than 101st, such as VS, XS, Stahl... even BIA. Due to the fact that 101st and Lynx intertwine so much, the best people would just rather pick the better of the two for playing with elites.

101st seems to be having an identity

Thank you to the people who have decided to attack this clan forum page which was meant to just announce back to the WL Community and to gain New Recruits, Has now been a witchhunt attacking 101st... I personally believe this is not the place to discuss this.. You could've PM myself about these concerns that had to be said.

As far as I'm concerned there is no Identity Crisis.

Blowfly? I'm not going to treat one greater than another, Any 101st member kicked may re-apply to join the clan, This is designed to be a "Test" Do you really think we wanted to be kicking players? Do you think I'm trying to be a massive dick? I am trying to get a fresh influx of activity into the clan. These players will be welcomed back with open hands but we want to get the commitment communication and activity back into the clan which are crucial factors. Any 101st Member can re-apply they were not banned from re-joining. Our 101st Clan chat has not been used for two months.. Only by the same 6-7 above.. I have Mailed all 25 members in the clan asking to try and be active, I felt ignored and was not even given a message for reasoning, Even though the players were active in-game they weren't making the transition outside that and I felt something extreme was needed and that this kicking idea was the last option. This is the end of it now that I'm concerned.

Agree with youmustbekidding, Warlight God is a turncloak, learnt from us and left.

Not sure what to think of this, since I know like none of these current members. Good luck with your reshape, I hope this was not some hostile takeover though. I know when we went through issues with [P] (lot's of inactive players that didn't really have much of a goal to improve), we chose to start a new clan (WG) and not boot everyone else.

@mod: That I am a noob in this topic was no joke. I never played against him, so i cant make an opinion of his skill. I read this thread. Watched his profile and just was wondering. I dont say that he is no legend and dont say that he cant be a good player (best rank ever 62nd in 1v1 is really good i think)

Please ignore this thread. 101st was never meant to be an elite clan. It was meant to be a clan where players can enjoy themselves. Lately, we have attempted to make it a clan for players to improve. However, I believe we need to keep it's original purpose, which is for players to have fun. All previous 101st members have been reinvited. Soon, a new clan may be formed with a close partnership to 101st and Lynx focused solely on improving, but for now, 101st is meant to be a fun clan for everyone where you still have an advantage over clanless players at improving since Lynx members are willing to help you.

Blowfly is a warlight legend. He has been around for four years, and has played the ladder that whole time. I think he has more total 1v1 ladder games than anybody else on warlight. He is mainly recognized because of his great feat of staying near the bottom of the ladder for the whole time. Many players improve their game over time, yet Blowfly doesn't. This could be seen as bad, but I don't look at it that way. To be able to play for four years, with no noticeable improvement, and still be very active and enjoy warlight is amazing.
