I hastily took a turn in a game without thinking. A teammate is on vacation. Can I quickly change my orders and avoid the boot? If so, how?
I've heard Gnuffone has done this before...
PS I hope to end my string of vacations soon. But I'm still catching up with work...too many classes, too much damn homework to grade...and all these damn 0%SR games require too much damn counting. I don't have time for it.

wow i guess i was lucky yesterday. I went through my game against darkpie who has been on vacation for 3+ days. I uncommited my order without thinking about it. I went for a smoke. i think i realised 3-4 min later that i could be booted so i recommited in a hurry. Bottom line is, i wasn't booted.

Just to make sure: you are all talking about being automatically booted - right?

I think the server only checks for multi-day booting every 30mins or so. It seems therefore in the case of the desperate smoker he returned in time to commit before the server happened to make its rounds and check for naughty bootees.
So in this case his hurried recommission was justified so far as I believe :)
