More point 3 - In a deleted scene, we see Jar Jar conducting the entire audience at the podrace; when he moves his hands, the audience cheers at different volumes. He then turns around to see Qui Gon standing behind him and immediately stops, saying "Uh-oh" in his stupid accent.
