I was watching game of thrones, and there was a fight, to determine if Tyrion lived or not. If both combatants died in hideous levels of pain, why don't they order a re-trial, cos the gods obviously couldn't decide that time?

It's not just with GoT it is with all trial by combat in the past if you had a champion in the trial your life is tied to his since technically you should be fighting and not him.

Another question: Do white walkers only give a s*** about the seven kingdoms? Cos the east doesn't seem to care about them at all, and they are pretty far north in some cases.
