I'm sorry to hear of your loss.
I've never lost anyone that I care much about yet, but I can imagine it must be extremely heartwrenching.
Death is the only certainty of life.

I also sincerely hope you don't do something nutty like jumping off a bridge.
Somebody dies every nine seconds or so, according to my not very reliable source so I guess it has to hit us indirectly or directly at some point.

I am truly sorry for you. I remember how it felt when my grandparent died at the age of 12. I can only assume that it is even worse when an immediate family member dies. Remember that she is in a better place now (if you believe in that sort of thing), or that at least she isn't in pain anymore. I don't usually pray, but I'll offer one for your mum tonight.
