This is me talking about a player called TylerDaGreat17. In a game I had no chance, I desired to surrender. I had a decent amount of territory left, but I was obviously going to lose. I attempted to surrender, and he refuses to accept. I threaten to wait till boot. He says it will look worse on my profile. I dont want to spend the time it would take to finish the game, and I cant surrender. This was the ¨Noobs Only¨ 4 player FFA game. Why cant a player simply surrender in this game instead of having to ask permission first? How much of an effect would the boot have on my profile?

Im a new player. Ive already been booted from a game, however that was almost immediately after it started. Ive only played a few games. What does it actually do to harm you if you are booted?

Your "boot percentage" goes up (displayed on your profile), and players don't usually want to play with people who get booted often (it usually means you go afk a lot and that can ruin team games)
It'll mean if there is a game with a boot % setting the game might not be visible to you.
The situation you described is a very odd one, I've never seen that happen before, your opponent was either a noob or a troll. You could just join games that are set to "surrenders are instant" but I wouldn't worry about that too much, if you didn't like how he behaved you can just blacklist him and not play with him again :)
Hope that helps, happy gaming :)

Thanks. I just blacklisted him. He wasn´t a noob, he hasn´t lost a game on here yet. He wasn´t a troll, I would say just some snotty nosed 16 year old. Nope, that´s the definition of a troll. I threatened to make a move every 40-48 hours. If he wont accept surrender, I´ll just go for that.

The question is: was he fighting with you? If not it is understandable. Because in a 4 player FFA it is better to have one more player fighting the same guys as you. If your surrender was accepted, all the enemies could have turned to him.

I just played it out, and attempted to give the other player as much of an advantage as possible. We weren´t playing on the same side. It was a 2v1 AGAINST me.

Maybe he wanted more of your territory to boost his own income before having to fight the third player. Anyways, 6.6& is really not bad at all.

If you haven't been his last opponent I can totally understand that he wants you to produce more units. As someone mentioned before: A leaver changes the game balance. I am not sure if I would have accepted it, if I had the feeling that this would have a negative influence on my chance to win. People surrender to fast in my oppinion. Even if you can't win the game, you can still fight! :D

Yea just keeping playing if there is a 3rd player. Also if you really don't want to, you can either attack the guys all you can, or just deploy all troops in one spot and not attack anything. Will not be very time consumming for you, and you may need to only do it for a few turns. Getting a boot it just plain stupid in situations like these. Don't do that. People are picky about teammates with high boot rates (I'm very picky for example)
