By the way, no luck is not more nooby than 16%, it's just different. You can just calculate all your moves and your development of many turns away.

Yeah, I got into some good piece of good luck winning my last 16 games, I think I'm really going to be heading for #1 this year!

It would be an honour to hold both records. However one of those was due to the fact that I had left the ladder in my mind, but technically, I had to press a button, which didn't happen for a long time.

Easy way to beat the winning streak: Start a new alt and quickly level up or buy a membership to shortcut the levelling up part. Play 50 or more ladder games where you surrender each time. You should probably be the lowest rated player by that point. If not, keep surrendering until you are.

Now just play 50 or so games against the lowest rated players and they should be about 50 easy wins. To ensure a longer winning streak, start with more surrenders, like say 100.

Winstreaks are easy when your rating is as low as the OP's.

I could probably win 20-30 in a row if I joined right now, because I went AWOL and got booted a ton so have a shit rating at the moment.

Have a ~600 rating, and play like a top 10 player? Easy winstreak.

I am rank 346 on the ladder, dead last. I had intended to wait for the losses to expire, but trying to break the record for most consecutive wins and seeing how fast I can shoot from 346 to top 50 or so seems amusing (higher than 50ish seems very unlikely till the losses do expire).
