What everyone's opinion on prepers? Are the preparing for something that will never happen or the inevitable?

IMO: While it seems like a stupid thing do It probably is quite fun (something about survival equipment and thousands of identical tins and boxes- you can stack the up lie around hundreds of the same thing ect-just bring out my inner child) and at the end of the day there going to be in a better position if SHTF.

However there probably quite a few loopyloos in there ranks.

They make for a good Tv show.

Also how would the world go Ding? Economic failure? Ice age? Ect
