If more that half of the world doesn't recognise you as a state, then you're not a state.
What? This just doesn't make sense. In the Marianer Trench, there's no sunlight. But there are red organisms that live there. However, 1: visible light going through water doesn't really detect red light. Is it safe to say that they are actually black fish, and not red? No. And 2: since they are black, the fish aren't noticed as well from most light sources in the trench. But it's not right to say that there is no fish, either. Why are states handled as a trusted source for deciding this? Do this by raw population data, if you want, but states? They say whatever makes them look relatively best - that's like using gunshop advertisements to find out whether or not [exclusive gun sold at 2/5 businesses] is better than [exclusive gun sold at the rest].
Kurdistan, Palestine, and Tibet has more recognition and deserve to be countries.
I'm pretty sure no UN members recognize Kurdestan, though it is a country. Palestine is more recognised (and is a country, too), and Tibet? Everyone recognises that Lhasa is owned by the CFR, it's just most everybody acknowledge the government-in-exile as well.
Kosovo was started by terrorists. The KLA are terrorists: fact
This is very hasty and assuming to say. But you know what, even if that's true, it is irrelevant. The "terrorists" have made a very big site that Serbia has no control over. Just look at Serbia's autonomous province-in-exile, Kosovo and Metohija. Officially it's capital is in Priština. Really, the gathering meets (and isn't ashamed of it) in a norther borough called Mitrovicë.
Kosovo is not a country, nor will it ever be. Kosovo is Serbia
Oh my god, who brainwashed you here? What % your friends are Serbin?
Kosovo is an independent country, and the Albanians and Kosovars shall always have independence from Serbia. Kosova is Kosova. God is a Kosovar.
Kosovo isn't de jure a country for some, but de facto, it is. Still better than Abkhazia, South Ossetia, insert-random-puppet-of-Russia-here
Well, by better, you mean more recognised, I assume, but that doesn't really make it better overall. Abkhazia is a better site to live than Kosova, in my opinion. Ossetia I bet is just about the same life goodness.
