Was looking around the wiki today and saw some of it was wrong so i was gonna put some stuff in and i can't figure out what you unlock at level 48 or 49, even a low level player can't tell. This might just be a question for fizzer.

level 49 = unlock 1 vs 1 ladder

it is level 47 since the addition of the 3v3 ladder.
