Also, Plat, I don't know why you have everything against what I do. I don't even think you read the intentions to why this was created. I also don't know why you think CORP is having a sudden "identity" crisis, being like this for months.
This goes all against what RP clans are about!!
Take Wolves, for example. Arguably the most active clan on WL. They have like fucking 40-50 clan / inter-clan diplos going on right now. Something many players in the clan (Onoma, Semice, etc.) want to play strategically as well as diplomatically. They don't want to leave their friends in the Wolf clan, so this is a good place for them to sharpen their skills. Sure, not the entire RP clan would be interested in this, but some are, and enough are to make a league about it, and that is what matters.
Why make this competition?
You clearly didn't read the intentions for this. There are 2 reasons.
1) To get "in-the-closet-strategic-players" to play more strategy, when an environment of mediocrity has not enabled them to get many opportunities to play strategically.
2) For the strategic players of RP clans, that don't want to leave their RP clans, to get a league to play in, so they don't have to leave the communities they've grown to love.
Just for some free bragging rights for CORP to claim it's the best RP clan?
Gauging the "best RP clan" is difficult. In the same way that gauging "diplo skill" is difficult. I'd argue that a level of "diplo skill" does exist, although it isn't nearly as measurable as strategic skill is. In much the same way, rating RP clans is much more difficult than rating strategic clans. Want to know the best strategic clan (i.e. that will probably win Clan Leagues)? Probably Apex, GG, Masters, or maybe FC (FC are a complicated situation, but not getting into that here). The best RP clan ? That's much harder to gauge. A lot of it is opinionated. If a good role player / template creator, etc. wanted to join a RP clan, of course I'd market CORP as the best RP clan. Although, is it? Different RP clans are good at different things. Wolves, USSR, CORP, Juggernauts, Vitrix, {W.U}, {rp}, even the fucking _CIRCLE_ are all contenders for the "best RP clan", and the list goes on far beyond that. Different RP clans are good at different things, so juding the "best one" is so difficult.
Assuming you meant the "RP clan with the best strategic players", then I'd disagree with you there. If we decided to go with people who don't play diplos (Gines, Ink, mm, etc.) then they obviously aren't people that are in the roster, because in reality, they wouldn't be in CORP if it was a purely RP clan. In this case, all the players in our roster do play diplos to a certain extent. Perhaps not all as much as your typical Wolf, but they have played and experienced diplos, some enough to come back to them and play them frequently.
I think CORP and Strategic driven at this point or having a identity crisis!

CORP have been like this since _JUNE OF 2015_ and you are suddenly taking some sort of dig at us for having an "identity crisis". I disagree, because we're not in a state where we don't know what we want to be. On the contrary, actually. CORP is a clan, where people can get a good learning environment for strategy, but also get a fun environment to be invited to diplomacy games, should they want. We have loads of current diplo events right now. Perhaps not as much as Wolves, but we're damn active when it comes to diplos.
Actually, I'm pretty sure you're saying this just to make fun of me, when I said that 101st were having an identity crisis. At least I had the ability to back up my point, in the sense that it was trying to be an elite clan, when in reality it is just a feeder clan to [Lynx], not a fully functioning clan of its own.
