Looking for a clan that's organized and has some element of strategic play. Just want to increase my game count- hence the reactivation of this alt.
I prefer games that don't take over a week to finish- so stuff like strat 1v1's which often get finished real-time (and where turns don't actually take more than a few hours in most cases).
(since it's apparently not super-clear, my main is knyte; this account was previously known as meta knyte)
Its an alt. Im sure he knows where the clan list is. btw I doubt anyone will take you in if you announce yourself like that, and we all know who you are. The previously known as gives it away.
@Nogals: hadn't changed the name when I made this post, so I forgot to update. Obv. not trying to hide my main, or I wouldn't have had such similarity between the profile icons.
As far as MS's post: I'm looking for clans that meet a few basic requirements-
(a) activity (b) strategic play (c) relatively fast multi-days (d) decent strategic players (at least a good number in the 1500+ range based on 1v1 ladder ratings)
Based on my limited experience, clans that I expect to have these traits:
- German Warlords - M'Hunters - LEA - CORP - GG - ILLUMINATI - [Lynx] - MASTER Clan - French Community - VS - Icelandic Turtles - Divided We Fall - VIW - REGL - Acme Co. - WG - Juggernauts - AWF - XS - ONE - Blitz - Dutch - Apex - Lu Fredd - (AHoL) - BiA - 101st - Yin-Yang - Footballguys - [20] - ... half of all remaining clans
Basically, these requirements are so broad they include basically every worthwhile clan- including (as you can see) a lot of clans that won't accept this account. I don't really care about any other criteria so I can't narrow my search that way- so it's more or less going to be based on which clans are alt-friendly, pursuing growth currently, and think that this account's a good fit for their membership.
That information I unfortunately can't glean from the Clans list, because it's usually too specific to be publicized that way. Hence this post.
Primarily because it'd be very hard to organize real-times as a clan, unless you've got a large clan (that's also well-organized) or have a lot of consistent activity overlap between members who prefer similar templates. It'd just be very hard to pull off.
Both Platinum and Firehawk left. I guess they wanted to change stuff but ran against a wall. Apart from that M'Hunters focuses mainly on realtime games however they won't accept vitriol.
@Kynte, ILLUMINATIā² would add you (whatever account you want) to the public chat of our clan chat. You could play games with members of our clan. As well you can ask questions regarding strategy and just general Warlight stuff. The only drawback is stuff organized my management is for members only and ILLUMINATIā² is only interested in main accounts. So you would miss out on the clan run stuff but there are players, both strong and weak, to play and practice against.
Maybe just try the first clan that meets your criteria, try it out for a bit and see how it goes. It's pretty easy to switch clans right? If you need to you can join a different clan later, after you've gained more perspective/experience.

A. From what I can tell from experience, TLW is in the top 3 clans on this aspect if not #1 B. We have some decent players when it comes to Real-Time strategy such as Semicedevine,Marco (who is ranked), and Siezure. C.Our Multi-day games go pretty quickly, not to mention that most of our multi day active players usually get 1-3 pages of games from us alone on average. D.(summed up in answer B)
