There are SO many tournaments held up by people going inactive. Why is Auto Boot not the default? It should be on by default, even if a large amount (like a month). I am in one where the game has not progressed in 3 months (we are waiting for the winners of that game).

I know Fizzer mentioned the server cost is much larger than it used to be, wouldn't it help to have all these games/tournaments ending in a timely manner?

Right now, when you make tournies with no auto boot, a message will come up, asking if you want autoboot enabled.

Does it? I can never tell if you are serious or not. I haven't made one in a while.

Depends on when it warns you of that I guess. I figured it would not until you actually hit create. At which point if you were lying I'd have a stupid dummy tournament out there created.

It took me 45 seconds to make a tournament to test this.

30 of it was loading my friends list (I'm so popular)

It suggests enabling an autoboot, and asks if you want a 6 day autoboot enabled.

Note: It actually suggests if you want an autoboot that is double your direct boot time, but it doesn't go above 100 days.

Personally I have a bigger problem with pretty much anyone being able to create tournaments these days.
