Oh, I see. pixar didn't do Shrek, that was dreamworks. All the Pixar movies are crap though, toy story and incredibles are average.

Best kids animated movies are:
Lego movie
Shrek
Big hero 6

Nothing else compares to those 3.
Lego movie is the best. why?

It starts off as a satire on society, the typical work the same dead end job, listen to what everyone else listens to and try to blend in sort of thing.

It is actually funny, not cute funny but proper funny.

The movie has so many different messages

Not the typical good guy beats and kills bad guy, instead the bad guy becomes a good guy.

It is plausible: as it empowers the idea of imagination.


I can't stress it enough LEGO movie is the BEST kids movie ever. If you haven't seen it, watch it. You won't be disappointed. It really is a masterpiece. Everything is fucking AWESOME.

No, it doesn't. The last list doesn't include Pixar.

I know the list I made doesn't include Pixar but it made me realize that Pixar isn't as good as say dreamworks. Incredibles 2 is still in the making. I think it will be released 2017 or something ridiculous like that. I have no idea if anyone will watch it since the people who saw it as kids have grow up and I doubt the kids currently will enjoy something that is just a typical superhero movie.

I mentioned that list to say that Lego movie is an awesome movie.

Now that you mention it The Lego Movie is possibly the darkest kids movie. The way you mentioned the satire etc. makes me realize it's a perfect recreation of Brave New World or 1984. Scary.

If you say that The Incredibles, a pretty original story and idea is average then you might as well say all the classic Disney films, you know direct rip offs of already written fairy tails, are just plain terrible.
