i think the most memorable game was 'War' .I and my group of friends maked 2 sides, started in different corners of the village (or forest) and started to attack one eachother.The most fucked up moment : a banzai charge.(i shouted BANZAI, being the first to charge, i I fell into a ditch, other advanced and got ''killed'', me prisoner )

Settlers of Catan. Some family friends from germany introduced us to it in the 90s and it was a staple in the board game cabinet when I was young, but recently it got very popular among college aged folks so I got to rediscover it and play all the expansion packs. Great game in my opinion, simple enough to teach young kids or play at a party but complex enough to be challenging and replayable. Someone really needs to make an Island of Catan map for Warlight.
