You might not know me too well as I'm mostly a lurker in the forum, but something happened today that's really not cool.
We all know ChrisCUM, who is a sort of moderator around here, with the power to move posts to different sub-sections of the forum and such.
Today, a player named "BootsInPuss" made a post in the Clans forum about wanting to join a clan. I happened to notice that this player had a boot percentage of like 90 or something so I was gonna make a joke about it as a response. But when I went to hit reply, I got a message that the post didn't exist.
Now, among the most outraged responses (and easily the rudest) came from ChrisCUM, treating this player like dog shit for asking about joining specific clans (big surprise, ChrisCUM is on his high horse again).
So I can only assume he abused his power to remove a post he didn't like. That's not how an open forum works, buddy, and this is the first step down a slippery slope to censorship.
So ChrisCUM, I'm on to you.
To the rest of you, Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!

Nice job collecting the facts before posting. As was stated, I cannot edit/remove any posts. I think only Fizzer and Mercer can, but I don't know that for sure.
What was removed? EDIT - was CAPS the reason or was there some bad content in there?
I like how the OP here says "I can only assume". I mean I am on here all day, so nice job not bothering to ask me if I did something first (despite the fact I cannot).

Now BootsinPuss is berating me via mail, despite me telling him I have no such abilities.
I really wish we could overhaul these forums so that these sorts of things were transparent and I would not get accused of something.
Frankly, I should request Fizzer remove my one meaningless power (of changing a thread to another forum)...and publicly state I have no powers. Then I would probably still get trolled though.

So, If anything DingleberryJones has broken the rules here!
If we regard to rule 1 "You shall be respectful to other players at all times", Dingleberryjones has broken this rule so many times seemingly?
If we look closely ChrisCMU name has been changed to ChrisCUM on purpose on a total of 5 times? So either it's on purpose or Dingleberryjones has a serious problem spelling "CMU"!
So as proved above, ChrisCMU has not abused his power (if any) as TBest correctly linked that threads can't be listed on all capitals! So the question I pose is if Dingleberryjones has disrespected ChrisCMU and should be reported and given the appropiate action?
Tables may be turning here!

IF I had that power (to delete a thread), and IF I wanted to delete it...I would have done so from the start. Why would I bother to post in a thread that I found a violation of TOS...if I actually had the power to do something about it, only to risk some moron on here calling me out for it?
The answer is I would not have. When Fizzer cleans this stuff up, do you see him post in it first? No. Why bother?

ChrisCmu is a pretty good guy, I see no reason to believe otherwise. Poon squad, I'm sorry, but I hold a very different view. At least part of it is the maturity with which Chris handles things, that makes me inclined to think that someone else is at fault.
While Chris was not extremely warm, as the OP seems to think he should have been, he was not rude either, just frank. I am much more offended by the entire concepts of certain clans.

@ChrisCMU, If you are finding "Bootsinpuss" to be "berating" you too much I advice blacklisting or reporting him! Would blacklisting him be able to stop the player mailing you? As it does stop players chatting to you in-game...

So I think there's a valid point here: there's no notification system for when and why a forum post gets removed. I remember (at most) seeing a momentary response by an admin (Fizzer?) that a post was going to get removed for being in all caps, but clearly that response was also deleted along with the post and OP was none the wiser.
It'd be cool if there were some sort of notification system for post removal.
Of course, I say that knowing Fizzer's never going to get around to it- but it's an inadequacy in the system itself, not in any user or moderator.

Well, Bootsinpuss decided to make a thread in the General forums instead => https://www.warlight.net/Forum/126306-wanted-join-clan-invite It really is just in violation for being in the wrong sub-forum which should be clan forums imo, I wonder if ChrisCMU could move this thread to the correct sub-forum? Thanks!

@Ocean: some moderators have the power to move threads to different forums; I don't know whether ChrisCMU has this one (the powers are very decentralized)
