Sorted oldest to youngest (based on account age/average account age) both across clans and within clans. Age is relative to Christmas 2015. Average join date is based on average age of accounts (rounded down to the nearest integer to approximate the day the "average" member of the clan would have joined- e.g., if average age is 2.75 days, then the average member would've joined early during the day 2 days ago)
Also this is more interesting than I hoped for. (I wanted to see what clans recruited new WL players)
I mean what happened in October 2011? As hedja said "Interesting data there knyte - turns out 13 of REGLs 66 members (20% of us) joined warlight in the month of October 2011."
Well, 8 of MH joined WL then too. (One of them me, yet I don't remember what made me join)
Wasn't this when some next version of Warlight, with ladders and memberships was released? I think (unofficial) clans really started to be a thing more or less then (although some started even earlier).
In Octboer 2011 it was released onto gaming sites. I'm pretty sure I found it on armor games - not sure which other sites it was on. I think it is also when it came out of beta but not sure (would make sense). All I know is WL beta finished before that (I don't have the trophy)
Very interesting. Obviously we are the 15th oldest clan (since our clan ID is 15) on the official system, but that is deceptive because apex is older than WG but was not made official (purchased) until much later.
Maybe a tweak would be to only count people with points in the last 30 days? One of those clans (team p) has only 2 people and neither have any points in the last 30 days. One of them is still level 2, despite joining in 2010.
