The only media i saw railing the US for not getting involved is the media from the US. Not to mention the only reason there was any question of what the US was going to do in Egypt is because the US has given that "terrible" government over 70 billion dollars? Not unlike how they just 4 years ago deemed libya good enough to resume trade with?

So Dansonno its fine for you to say nukes rule and that its ok for the states to do whatever it wants because "if you shake the hornets nest" you deserve it. But if anyone questions the US's foreign policies you want the thread deleted?

I agree Eagle! Im Canadian and we are just a bunch of tag alongs when it comes to government as far as im concerned.Government is supposed to represent the people, and oil interests overseas only represents the top 1/2% of the population, The same 1/2% that are shipping all the jobs overseas to get cheaper labor.Im not judging Americans at all, i have no problem separating government from the population, they seem to be completely different from one another.

I also agree with eagle, government almost never reflects the majority of the population, strangely enough! For example, in Ireland we have political dynasties basically. Fathers retire and their sons take over and get elected in their place. they are generally professionals, very wealthy and have strong ties to business. I think that's often the profile of politicians around the world but I just don't see how people can relate with them and vote them in to represent them!
btw it's not the professional thing, more the business thing that gets to me.

Also eagle I resent the statement "Ireland No one cares fight england and get it over with" With nearly half the american population claiming irish roots even your resident i think you should care (america)
