I'm half Polish half Scottish technically, though my Scottish side had been in America so long they're barely Scottish at all anymore, and the Poles have been Canadian for over 100 years anyway.

But people who come from Jewish immigrants don't seem to be as fully attached to their country of origin as you'd expect. You see yourself as Jewish, not Polish.
