With the hugely positive response from Ruthless's Gladiator tournament paired with the unfortunate reality that only 1 of the original 128 entrants will receive the coveted Membership prize, I have created a new tourney with the same end reward (I will personally buy the winner of the tournament a lifetime Warlight Membership!). It is a 128-person, 1v1, SINGLE-elimination tournament using the settings that will very soon be standard use in our current Ladder setup. This means that whoever runs the gauntlet successfully and comes out as the newest Warlight Member will already have practiced for the ladder and should be able to seamlessly transition into the Big Leagues. Keep in mind, this ALSO means that the 3-day AUTO-BOOT timer will be activated as well.
The main purpose of doing a tournament like this is to help out the people that have wanted to get a WL Membership but haven't been able to because of drawbacks like financial restrictions, unrealistic currency conversions, etc. If you were thinking about becoming a Member anyways then I would strongly encourage you to do so and help support Randy for all of the work he's put into this site!
Please post a reply to this if you would like an invite to the tournament. For obvious reasons, I can only accept the first 128 invitation requests and it will be on a first come, first serve basis. Good luck to all and I look forward to seeing some new faces on the Ladder very soon!
