When will it be completed?
I'd say I've got around 1-2 more weeks left on the test game as it stands based on the pace it's going right now, and then probably another day of development after that to incorporate some of the Islands Pablo proposed.
add more of the asian pacific so the map has more chokepoints.
All of the "Asian Pacific" is present on the map, like I've pointed out before...
If you're talking about the Asia-Pacific region, it's the same story. Although it's called "Asia-Pacific", only a small part of it, the small part I've included on the map, is actually part of Asia.
Now, In principle I don't have anything against adding the Asia-pacific region to the map for the reason you suggested, to add more strategic possibilities. However, This map is basically at the 2mb Limit for file size, and adding any more reasonable territories is pretty much impossible.
The only reason I'm considering doing some of Pablo's suggestions is that They are mostly Tiny, tiny islands that you can't even see on ths map(which is why they weren't initially included), and therefore will be added as simple circles, not affecting the Size very much.
